A wonder girl Anchal has become an inspiration for all those people who give excuses to gain skills owing to their disability. ?Anchal did not let her disability become obstacle in the way of her ambitions and decided to learn computer from her legs as she is armless since birth.
17-year-old girl Anchal is so fond of gaining new skills that she decided to learn computer at CSC centre under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan (PMGDISHA) and become digitally literate. To learn computer skills she used to travel 16kms from her village to CSC centre daily in Kurkheda block of Gadchiroli District in Maharashtra.
Nassir Hashmi, Village Level Entrepreneur, taught Anchal at his CSC centre to operate computer keyboard and mouse with her leg fingers, and now she can perform various functions perfectly.
She has cleared 12th standard by giving exams with the help of legs fingers and now she has got admission in B.Sc. first year in nearby college in Kurkheda block of Gadchiroli District.
