India has enshrined a provision for the right to education, and as a result, many more children have access to school. But access is not sufficient. The quality of learning is also crucial.
Do our school going students learn? Reforms need to be done from schooling to learning.The failure to adequately educate students can be seen as a violation of the right to education as it limits economic development and locks countries into cycles of low growth rates, limited employment opportunities and weak social cohesion.
